Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell (T&P)

Training and Placement Cell (T&P) is a facilitator and counselor for placement related activities. Training and Placement Cell provides 100% placement assistance to all the registered students as per the norms provided here. The Training and Placement Cell aims to expose students to the nature of the corporate world therefore providing insight to their future professional careers.

Objectives

  • Placement Cell provide guidance to the students for selecting right career.
  • To improve soft skills.
  • Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements.
  • Collecting feedback from employers where our students are selected.
  • To act as a bridge between students, alumni and the employment community.

Placement Guidelines:

  1. T&P does not guarantee a job.
  2. It is mandatory for the students to register in the company to participate in the placement process of the company.
  3. Students should be ready to attend any screening programme conducted by placement cell on the request of companies. Shortlisted students list only will be forwarded to companies.
  4. Once students have given the name for the interview and if they are not attending the interview, they are not allowed to attend the rest of the companies.
  5. Correct and verifiable information should be produced in the resume. Any student found violating this rule will be de-registered from the Placement Session.
  6. Candidates must also always carry 4 copies of their resume and 2 passport size photographs for the GD/Interview of a company.
  7. Training & Placement Student coordinators only hold the sole right to deal with Training & Placement matters.
  8. Only with the special permission of the Training & Placement officer any other student may deal with Training & Placement matters.
  9. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in the vicinity of a company official andalsoareforbidden
  10. Dress code – Students must be formally dressed whenever they participate in any sort of interaction with a company. Minimum formal clothes for women include either a pair ofS alwar-Kameez or formal shirt and trousers with neck tie.
  11. Any student against whom show cause notice/warning letter have been issued; will not be allowed to appear in campus Recruitment. The students are required to submit a certificate showing their academic performance as well as satisfactory conduct in the institute signed by all concerned department faculties to the Training & Placement cell for further consideration
  12. Incase of parallel recruitment procedures of two or more companies, if an unavoidable case of clash of procedures arise then a student may be asked to choose between the companies and hence can only continue in the procedure with the selected company/companies. No change in decision in this regard will be accepted.
  13. All post job-offer communication between student and company should be channelized through the placement cell.
  14. Direct communications with the company officials is not allowed.
  15. Once the students are placed in acompany, they have to submit the photocopy of the offer letter with the placement officer for future reference.
  16. Selection of Companies: Companies will be invited and scheduled by the Placement Cell on the basis of the following parameters:
  17. Job profile and growth prospects.
  • The package being offered by the company.
  • Feedback from the Alumni regarding the company.
  • Eligibility Criterion:
  1. Student should get an aggregate of 60% &above throughout from SSC onwards.
  2. Student should not have any backlog subjects
