ACADEMIC ADVISING POLICY
ACADEMIC ADVISING POLICY of RBVRR WCP aims to assist students in their professional and personal growth and development by constructing meaningful educational plans which are compatible with their life goals. It is a continuous and consistent process which transform girl student lives through innovative, vigorous and compassionate approach to Pharma education.
Academic advising transforms the student toa self- directed, motivated, responsible decision-maker and encourages the successful completion of degree requirements and timely graduation
OBJECTIVES :
- Assisting students (advisees) to identify their academic values and goals, consistent with their capabilities, interests, and educational back grounds.
- To accomplish smooth conduct of academic activities of various programs in the institution
- Clarifying academic policies, College & University regulations, program requirements, procedures, promotion and credit requirements
- To design and implement quality teaching methodologies at institutional, program and at individual levels
- To provide timely advice as well as personal and psycho-social guidance required by students for overcoming the limitations and challenges, which they might face in the course of their studies.
- To provide well adapted learning environment and Student support Systems by appropriate feedback system and effective assessment of learning outcomes and initiating timely remedial actions and quality improvements
- Helping students to progress towards achieving their educational and careergoals.byrespecting students’ individual needs anddiversity.
- Maintain an up-to-date Advising Portfolio, with a summary record of performance to date (grade reports, transcript, requirements completed, etc.), attendance reports, dates of conferences (meetings), up-to-date information
